Hello. I'm Joseph Lumpkin. What seems like a lifetime ago I worked as an analyst contracted to the Department of Defense. Then the contract was cut. I had worked through a degree in religion, so started writing books. I wrote several. Then, I went through several tragedies in a short time. Deaths, loss, grief, pain. It emotionally broke me. The only way I knew out of the hell was to write about it. So, I did. Writing became poetry. Poetry gave way to music. The synthesis became my songs. Welcome to my exploration and explanation of the human condition. Below are a few of the latest songs. We put them here so fans will know what will go on the next album before it comes out. Joseph Lumpkin has a long and varied background in research and writing. Over years of study and research he has written over 25 books on the subjects of theology, religion, church history, and the Lost Books of the Bible. Dr. Lumpkin has worked in research and development within the U.S. Department of Defense on major projects including Hypersonic Missile Technology and Supercomputer clustering. In addition to his background in science, computers, and research, Joseph has a Doctorate in Ministry and has acted as chaplain to several family outreach programs. He is CEO of Fifth Estate Publishing www.fifthestatepub.com, with a catalog of over one-hundred books including, The Lost Books of the Bible, The Book of Jubilees, Fallen Angels, and The Encyclopedia of Lost and Rejected Scriptures.
Dr. Lumpkin has appeared on Radio, Television, and Internet shows as a guest speaker on subjects of Fallen Angels, Church History, Religion, Theology, The Sacred Feminine, and the Axial Age. Shows include L.A. Talk Radio, Rainmaking Time, Cryptic Knowledge, and Threshing Floor Radio.
Joseph has retired from research, writing, and publishing and is now on an inner journey of poetry, music, and meditation. Now, beyond the age of seventy, he still practices martial arts.
